Guests can enjoy guided hikes to the historic Ol Donyo Orok Mountain and caves, nature walks, cycling, bonfires, Maasai cultural interactions, local cuisine, tree-planting, and day trips to nearby attractions such as Amboseli National Park. ABOUT US

El-Shaddai Neighbourhood Community is a community-led sustainable tourism initiative based in Namanga, Kajiado County, Kenya. Our mission is to create meaningful cultural exchanges that generate income for local families while protecting our natural and cultural heritage. Through authentic homestays, guided outdoor experiences, conservation activities, and community partnerships, we connect travelers with the people, landscapes, and traditions of southern Kenya in a way that delivers lasting social, economic, and environmental impact.

IMPACT

El-Shaddai Neighbourhood Community is a locally led initiative that ensures tourism revenue directly benefits host families and community members through homestays, guiding, catering, and cultural experiences. We have worked with local partners to support access to clean water for households, organize tree-planting and environmental conservation activities with the local forest station, and promote responsible tourism that protects the Ol Donyo Orok ecosystem and Maasai cultural heritage. Our experiences educate visitors about local history, conservation, and cross-border culture while creating opportunities for meaningful cultural exchange. By prioritizing local leadership, fair community participation, environmental stewardship, and visitor education, we are building a tourism model that strengthens livelihoods, preserves heritage, and encourages long-term sustainable development in Namanga.
